Visitors will receive seasonal entertaining tips from show presenters including Lynn Spence of CityLine, Citytv’s Frank Ferragine (Frankie Flowers) and Annabelle Waugh, Food Director of Canadian Living. Hours are Fri., Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sat., Nov. 17, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sun., Nov. 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are Adults $14, Seniors/Youth $12 and children 12 and under Free. Adult tickets are $12 if purchased online.

17th CBC Charity Craft Sale

CBC’ employees put on this annual Christmas craft sale at their headquarters at 250 Front St. W. (at John St.) on Wed., Nov. 30, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The sale features handmade items from more than 85 vendors. All vendor fees on the day of donation go to global child protection.

City of Craft takes place Dec. 10 and 11, 2011 at the Theatre Centre at 1087 Queen Street West (at Dovercourt Road). You’ll find vendors selling hand-made crafts including knitwear, sewing, prints, woodworking, glass and jewellery. Sale hours are Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $2 with children 12 and under free.

Distillery District Christmas Market

Lowe’s Toronto Christmas Market at the Distillery District happens Nov. 30 to Dec. 16, 2012 and features a European-styled street market with vendors selling artisan gifts and gourmet treats for Christmas. Enjoy listening to roaming carollers and brass band and organ concerts while you shop, duck into the beer and mulled wine garden for Christmas spirits, or take the kids to see Rudolph’s Reindeer Zoo, a forest maze and gingerbread house. The Distillery District’s towering Christmas tree will be lit on the opening night. Market hours are Mon-Fri noon to 9 p.m. and Sat-Sun 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Free.

Arcadia Craft Show and Sale

Get in last-minute Christmas shopping at this Christmas craft show at Arcadia Gallery, 680 Queens Quay Blvd. W., 416-530-0057, running from Dec. 15-24, 2011. You’ll find handmade gifts, fine art, jewellery, ceramics, photography, fine art and poetry and children’s books.
