Gordon Lightfoot Concert Tour Stops at Casino Rama in 2012January 13, 2012 No Comments
A certain someone reluctantly knows all the songs included in Gord’s Gold, as a result of her sister’s non-stop playing of the double album that contains many of Gordon Lightfoot’s greatest hits. She and other Toronto and GTA fans will be pleased to know that Gordon Lightfoot has scheduled a tour stop at Casino Rama in Orillia on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 9 p.m. Although Lightfoot played Massey Hall in May of 2011, no Toronto date for Lightfoot’s 2012 tour has currently been scheduled. The legendary Canadian singer and songwriter has had his songs recorded by the likes of Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Barbra Streisand, Hank Williams Jr. and The Dandy Warhols to name a few. Lightfoot will hopefully dazzle the Casino Rama audience with his classics including “If You Could Read My Mind,” “Sundown,” “Rainy Day People” and the haunting “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.”
Tickets for Gordon Lightfoot are $65-$75 and can be purchased at a pre-sale by Players Passport ™ Club members on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. in person only at the Casino Rama Box Office.
