Former Toronto Maple Leaf Captain Doug Gilmour will host the first annual Dougieball, a slo-pitch tournament to support MLSE Team Up Foundation at Christie Pits Park on Thursday, July 19, 2012. After the baseball game, Gilmour will hold an after-party at C Lounge, 456 Wellington Street West. Tickets for the Dougieball VIP after party are available for $193.00. You’ll have a chance to mingle with Gilmour and other NHL greats including Curtis Joseph and Eric Lindros, as well as Canadian music celebrities at the C Lounge party. Tickets include appetizers and open bar. Guests will be able to bid on silent auction items, which include Toronto sports memorabilia. You can also have your photo taken with Doug for $55 and autographed for $150.

Gilmour has challenged Eric Lindros to a Dougieball fundraising challenge. The team that raises the least amount of funds will have to wear hockey gloves while playing in the ninth inning. Donate to the challenge and get a chance to win tickets to the Dougieball after party.

MLSE Team Up Foundation provides funding for hockey rinks and other sports programs for children.
