Yoga Conference and Show at Metro Toronto Convention Centre

Immerse yourself in the world of yoga at the Yoga Conference and Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from March 21-24, 2013. Those new to yoga as well as advanced yoga students and yoga teachers will be able to meet with over 200 exhibitors, as well as participate in 150 workshops.

Yoga classes and workshops are designated for All Levels, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Meditation, Therapeutic and Teacher Training. Classes and workshops are $19.99 to $36 per hour and may be purchased online. Some of the yoga classes include:

  • Ayurveda, Elements and the Chakras
  • Yoga for Runners: Yoga for Balanced Strength
  • Essentials of Twists and Backbends
  • Yamas and Niyamas – Ten Ways to Heal Your Life
  • How to Attract More Students
  • Metabolic Fire-Starter
  • Beyond Addiction: The Yogic Path to Recovery
  • Essentials of Standing Postures
  • Learn to Practice Thai Yoga Massage

A Yoga Trance Dance led by Shiva Rea will take place on Fri., March 22, 2013 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The trance dance blends prana yoga with free form, breath driven movement. The event requires a ticket, which can be purchased online.

After your yoga class, you’ll want to allow time to visit with some of the 200 exhibitors at the show including Front Door Organics, Sivananda Yoga Centre, Me to We Style, Halfmoon Yoga Products, Evergreen Juices Inc., Chokka Jewellery, Libre Tea, Soul of a Gypsy, The Yoga Kids, Tibetan Arts, Toronto Vegetarian Association, Yoga Urban Wear, Roots, Psychic Healer Georgia, Happy Water, Giddy Yoyo Chocolate, Got2Travel.ca, Akshara Yoga, Eudora’s Fine Foods, MWL Jewelry, Ayurvedic Rituals, King’s Cafe, Tony Uberoi, Friendly Crystals and Cheeky Intimates.

The Yoga Conference and Show hours are Thurs., March 21, Fri., March 22 and Sat., March 23, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sun., March 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The show is at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Hall C (North Building).
