This year’s Fashion on Yonge event will take place at the historic Elgin Theatre on Thursday, August 24, 2017. The event showcases fashions from the Downtown Yonge area where a third of the businesses are retail fashion. You’ll be able to learn about the latest fall trends available at stores in the Downtown Yonge area and get yourself all decked out in time for TIFF 2017, back-to-school or at the office. Plus the event’s proceeds will go to Covenant House so it’s a win-win all around.

The fashion show is in its 5th year and will highlight more than 300 outfits in three runway shows. Clothes will be selected from clothing and accessories retailers in the area. You’ll also get a chance to see new designs from upcoming designers at the Toronto Film School and Ryerson University’s Fashion Zone program.

Presented by Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area (DYBIA), the event is more than just a fashion show: You will be able to sample food from local restaurants, enjoy mini beauty treatments and win prizes. DYBIA is giving away five prizes of $100 each to those who share the best style photos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Use the hashtag #FashionOnYonge to share your photos.
