You may have been to High Park numerous times, but have missed the outdoor swimming pool located at the northern section of the park. High Park Outdoor Swimming Pool is nestled in among the trees, behind the baseball diamond and beside the tennis courts. This pool is geared to families and children, although there is a designated time for adult lane swim each day. High Park Swimming Pool is a fair size; however, the deep end area is small and there is a large wading pool area and shallow end. A popular feature is the spiral water slide, which has line-ups of kids ready to climb the slide and plunk into the water. The north pool deck is a great place for sunbathing as it faces south. If you are a serious swimmer looking to do lane swims, you should head over to nearby Sunnyside-Gus Ryder Pool. If you just want to splash around in the water, High Park Swimming Pool is the place for you. Parking is free all the time; however, you may need to hunt for a spot on weekends. Lockers cost 25 cents to use, which is non-refundable. Read below to find out when High Park Swimming Pool is open in 2018:
