Before you head out to Toronto’s Irish pubs to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, swing by the Market Kitchen at St. Lawrence Market and enjoy the culinary offerings at GradsMarket on Saturday, March 17, 2012. The one-day food event provides recent cooking school graduates with the opportunity to show off their talents by preparing signature dishes to be sampled by guests.
Student chefs will shop the St. Lawrence Market for the best ingredients to prepare diverse dishes including appetizers, main dishes and desserts. You can vote for your favourite dish and network with student chefs, who are available for hire at your next event.
GradsMarket runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and tickets are $5 at the door.
